The Art of Chin Implant

The chin is the most important aesthetic aspect of the lower part of our face. Having a beautiful chin gives a refined facial outline in women. It is a common cosmetic procedure for anyone who has or feels that their chin is Protruding, Wide & Stubby, Long, and a Receding Chin. In either of the cases, chin surgery enhances and contours the facial structure, strengthening the jaw line and balancing the face.

Nowadays, Silicone implants are mostly preferred as it comes as the most favorable implants with non-existent side effects. They are soft and hence can be trimmed and contoured in different dimensions to accommodate each patients needs, they blend in significantly, bio-compatible, and easy to remove.

Positioning of the Chin Implants

The figure on the left shows a recessed chin in which the chin lies behind a vertical line from the lower lip. The image on the right shows the improved position of the chin following augmentation of the chin with a high-grade silicone implant that sits along the lower part of the jaw bone.

There are two ways of inserting a chin implant. It can be either through the mouth (intra-oral positioning) or from below the chin (sub-metal positioning). However, both of them seem favorable; Intra-oral positioning does not leave any visible scarring.

The implants are fixed with small titanium screws that ensure stability, prevent it from displacement and eliminate any gaps between the implants and the mandibular bone.

Patients, who underwent Chin implant surgery, usually recover within a week or two. No hospitalization is required. The chin is covered with a bandage, which helps to reduce swelling and it is removed in two days. During recovery period, it is important take in liquids and soft food for a week to avoid excessive chewing.

Multifarious Approach To Nose Surgery

Nose like all other features in our face, deserves that extra bit of care. It is the center of attraction in ones face. Rhinoplasty is a common cosmetic surgery; say it in Asia or Europe.

Why do people prefer Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty reforms and reshapes your nose into any form you may desire. People may also prefer it, if they are unhappy with their heredity nose, disfigured the nose in an accident, or merely for an improved appearance.

The procedure:

The surgical methodologies used mainly depend on what you would want to achieve from the surgery. In most cases, incisions are done inside the nose to avoid any scarring.  There are two types of Rhinoplasty.  Open Rhinoplasty and Closed Rhinoplasty.

Open Rhinoplasty:  It requires making an incision across the lower or mid colemella, it is the middle part of the nose between the nostrils.  The exposed cartilage and bone is rearranged to the patients’ desirable nose structure.

Open Rhinoplasty is preferred by people who have a bulbous nose, protruding nose tip or nose tips with an irregular shape and size.

Scars are most likely to be visible immediately after surgery, but it will fade away with time once the patient completely heals.

Closed Rhinoplasty: It is the standard procedure in rhinoplasty. In closed rhinoplasty, incisions are made inside the nose along the nostrils. It leaves no scars behind, as all the incisions are invisible to the naked eye.

Ideally, closed rhinoplasty is advised for people who need nasal tip surgery, removing humps and excess soft tissues, or reshaping bones and cartilage.

Regardless of which procedure suits you, it is never too late to improve your appearance.

Defy Your Age And Stay Youthful With MACS

We all heard the phrase “never take things for granted” and likewise, our skin is one of the most important assets we own. As we age with time, the effects of stress, exhaustion and the constant exposure to external harsh environment take its initial toll on the face. That is to say that, slacking off the law line, loose skin and fat deposits extending toward the neck, nasolabial folds and any fine lines that appear on the face.

Advantages of MACS:

Short scar
Long lasting results
Less bruising/ less swelling
No general anesthesia
Quick recovery
No hospitalization

The procedure:

MACS, which is the abbreviation for “Minimal Access Cranial Suspension lift”, is a surgical procedure used to achieve a long-lasting lifting effect.

1. Incisions are made along the crease of the ear extending towards the hairline. In doing so, the scar fades away and become unnoticeable as the months follow.
2. The skin from the cheeks extending until the contours of the jawline is detached through the incision.
3. The tissues beneath the skin are lifted towards the direction of the incision, resulting in the muscles to become taut, and internal sutures reposition it.
4. Any excess fat is than drawn away via a small hole and excess skin is trimmed.
5. The incisions in front of the ear are than meticulously repaired with fine sutures.

Swelling and bruising will slowly disappear and by the end of the second week, all the scars should disappear too. One can also resume normal day activities.

The Line Plastic Surgery Clinic in Korea provides hands-on treatment on MACS, with the surgeons having excellent experience and knowledge. It is continuously evolving with the advances made in the medical fields.

Here's Your Know-How To Get Rid Of Eye Bags

Lower eyelid surgery is also known as Blepharoplasty and most often than not, it is done to improve one’s appearance rather than health reasons. It reduces the puffiness, bags under the eyes, and dark eye circles, which tend to make a person look older and fatigued.

The skin under the eyes is very thin especially towards the center of the eye. A layer of muscle is located just under the eyelid; the skin separates from the fat layer and thin tissue membrane. Muscles weaken and sag with age while fat deposits shift in response to weaken tissues causing puffiness and bags under the eyes, in addition, changes occur in the skin itself around the eyes. The collagen that supports the skin breaks down over time causing the skin to lose elasticity and become lacks.

What to expect during the procedure?

Small incisions made along the lash line of the lower eyelid that aids in removing excess fat, muscle and skin from under the eyes. The incisions are closed with fine sutures. The puffiness is treated by trans-conjunctival blepharoplasty. Unlike the previous method, in this case, the incisions made are inside the lower eyelid. The fatty tissues are removed and sutures that are invisible to the eye are used to close the incision. These sutures are self-dissolving and leave no scars.

A certain degree of pain, bruising and swelling will remain after the procedure. Cold compress and plenty of rest should speed the healing process.

Although lower eyelid surgery does not stop the eyes from ageing, but it will reduce puffiness, bags from beneath the eyes with long lasting results with youthful eyes you desire.

Walk Tall With The Line's Calf Reduction

When it comes to women’s legs, it becomes a necessity to have sexy, feminine and attractive calf muscles. The calf muscles vary from European to Asian people; some may appear bulky and manly whereas others may appear short but slender.

Although by definition, the Asian people tend to have more muscular legs when compared to westerners. Calf Reduction is one of the widely sort out procedures in Asia.

For shrinking calf muscles, there are both surgical and non-surgical methods. Botox is widely used to tame and resize the leg muscles.

How does it work?

When Botox is injected in specified areas, the surrounding nerves become paralyzed causing the Gastrocnemius muscles to relax and shrink. Botox should be injected at a minimum of three months interval for the effects to be properly seen. The effects last for at least six to nine months.

It is an easy solution for most people due to the fact that this procedure is minimally invasive while the fact remains that the initial and recurring cost add up to be very costly.

Bid Farewell To Sagging Eyelids

Eyelids play an integral part in protecting our eyes from an external environment. They are small and delicate structures that require immaculate and skilled hands while performing a surgery. The question arises as to why one needs an upper eyelid surgery. It is because, as we age, our skin starts to wither out, the soft tissues around the eyes starts to give way and lose its elasticity and as a result, the eyelids become saggy and droopy. The first sign of aging appears in the eyes.

You are a perfect candidate if you have:

  1. >>Excess skin over the upper eyelids
  2. >>Lose eyelids that cause weakens the eyesight
  3. >>Small upper eye surface

What would you expect your surgeon to do?

In this surgery, the surgeon will first point out the exact areas from where excess tissues are to be removed. He will then move on to making small tiny incisions on the eyelids, removing the excess fat or repositioned if needed. The loose skin is, however, removed. Through fine sutures, the incisions are closed. Expect a certain degree of swelling and bruising, and scars fade away over time. Cold compresses and lying down should make the healing process swifter.

Look great and blink easily with an upper eyelid surgery!!!
